Eirini Kikarea

Staff Lawyer

Eirini is qualified as a lawyer in Greece. She holds a law degree from the University of Athens and an LLM in international law from the University of Cambridge. She is currently completing her doctoral thesis in international law at the University of Cambridge and was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard Law School and at the Harvard Institute for Global Law and Policy for a year. She has focused her studies and research on international investment law, international trade law, and international environmental law.

Before joining Volterra Fietta, Eirini worked at a leading Greek law firm and as an in-house lawyer, advising and representing clients in banking and corporate law. She also worked at a leading London law firm, advising clients in taxation and white-collar matters.

Eirini was the Editor-in-Chief of the Cambridge International Law Journal and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cambridge. She has published articles in the areas of international investment law, global governance, as well as EU law and Brexit, and regularly delivered guest lectures on international economic law.
