Erick Santin Alvarez

Staff Lawyer

Erick is a Mexican-qualified lawyer. He holds a law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, México, and an LL.M. in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University London.  There, he researched the interpretation of human rights by investment tribunals.

Erick also studied international human rights procedures at the London School of Economics and the Latin American Bar Association.  Additionally, he participated in the Jessup Moot Competition for four years as a team member and advisor.

Before joining Volterra Fietta, Erick worked for three years at a leading Band 1 Mexican law firm, advising and representing clients in dispute resolutions cases related to the energy sector.  He has represented buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions for different industries, including energy projects, education, infrastructure, telecommunications, and retail sectors, among others.
