Jessica Pineda


Jessica is a Venezuelan Lawyer. She holds a law degree from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, a Master in Oil and Mining Law from the Universidad Monteávila and an LLM from King’s College London.

Jessica advises private entities and sovereign States on contentious and non-contentious public international law and international dispute resolution issues. Recent highlights of her practice include working on investment treaty disputes under different institutional rules, including ICSID and UNCITRAL. Jessica is currently working in two investment arbitrations involving a South American State. She is also acting for a Caribbean State in an investment treaty claim before the Permanent Court of Arbitration.

Prior to joining us, Jessica worked as an associate in the energy and natural resources group at a global law firm, where she advised multinational companies on oil and gas projects, project financing and negotiations of complex EPC contracts. She also worked in the public law practice group and the energy disputes team advising petrochemical and mining companies in their Latin American projects.
