Staff Lawyer

Maria is a qualified lawyer admitted to the bar in Spain.  She holds a Double Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Business with honours from Pompeu Fabra University, a Master’s degree in Legal Practice from the Barcelona School of Management, and an Advanced Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration cum laude from Leiden University.

Prior to joining Volterra Fietta, Maria worked as an associate in a top-tier international law firm in Spain in its Litigation and International Arbitration department, representing clients in high-value commercial litigation proceedings.  Furthermore, Maria enriched her skills through internships at leading international law firms in Spain, spanning diverse areas of expertise.  She also served as a research assistant in public international law and gained insights as a legal clerk before the Courts of Barcelona.
