Pablo is a Chilean qualified lawyer. He holds a law degree from the University of Chile, an LLM in International Law from the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and is on course to complete an LLM in Energy and Natural Resources Law at Queen Mary, University of London. He has focused his studies in International Arbitration, International Investment Law and Natural Resources Law.
Pablo advises sovereign states, state-owned companies and private parties in international dispute resolution proceedings, as well as in non-contentious matters under public international law.
Before joining Volterra Fietta, Pablo worked at a leading Chilean law firm and as an in-house lawyer, advising and representing clients in civil and labour litigation and corporate law. He has also worked at a London-based NGO advising clients in International Investment Law, Anti-bribery and Corruption and Human Rights matters. In addition to his professional experience, Pablo has worked as a researcher and a teaching assistant at the University of Chile.
