Staff Lawyer

Priyanshi is an Indian-qualified lawyer.  Prior to joining Volterra Fietta, Priyanshi concluded her LL.M. at the University of Cambridge. She gained her BLS. LL.B., a dual law degree, from the Government Law College, Mumbai.  She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Securities Laws from the Government Law College, Mumbai.

Priyanshi has experience in commercial litigation and domestic arbitration disputes involving private and State-owned entities in different sectors in India.  She has previously clerked under a sitting judge of the High Court of Bombay, India, as well as Senior counsel and several law firms in Mumbai.  Her research on sovereign debt in investor state arbitrations was awarded the Nappert Prize by McGill University in 2022.
