Yulia is a Russian lawyer. She holds a law degree from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Moscow) and an LLM from the Queen Mary University of London, where she has focused on international economic law (international trade and foreign investment) and international arbitration. She also studied public international law and US corporate and contract law at the University of Maine School of Law.
Yulia advises sovereign states, state-owned companies, and private parties in international dispute resolution proceedings, as well as in non-contentious matters under public international law.
Before joining Volterra Fietta, Yulia worked in a leading Russian law firm advising clients with respect to international arbitration and public international law. In addition to her professional experience, Yulia worked as a researcher and a research assistant in Higher School of Economics and the Queen Mary University of London focusing on public international law, international sanctions, international trade law, sustainable development.
